#Full time students are required to submit a proof (e.g., student card or letter) when submitting their registration forms.

 

## Any participant who brings their spouse, family members or friends to the conference should make sure that every one of them has completed their registration and payment at spouse (guest) rate.

Registration Procedure

 

Participants can register by emailing the completed application form to iclls2024@iolhks.hk.

 

For Hong Kong participants, please send a crossed cheque or bank draft of your full amount of registration fee payable to “CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF LINGUISTS HONG KONG SOCIETY” to the following address:

Non-Hong Kong participants (including mainland China participants) may pay the registration fee by bank draft and send it together with the above address. Alternatively, payment can be made via PayPal through the link below. Please record the Transaction ID at the Registration Form.

For the Sixth International Conference on Linguistics and Language Studies ("ICLLS 2024"), The Chartered Institute of Linguists Hong Kong Society ("CIOLHKS"), co-organisers and the Organizing Committee of ICLLS 2024 ("OC") would only act as the organisers and event host of ICLLS 2024. All arrangements for the conference such as those in travel, transport, accommodation and services are made on the expressed condition that neither the organizer, co-organisers nor OC will be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages, injury, losses, accidents, delays or irregularities of any kind occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including but without limitation to, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party such as airlines, cruise lines, trains, hotels, restaurants, ground handlers, etc., who is to or does supply any goods or services to the participants of the conference. 

 

Without limiting the foregoing, the organizer, co-organisers and OC will not be responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedule, overbooking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majeure, war, quarantine, criminal activity, or for any other cause beyond their control. They reserve the right to change the itinerary of the Conference without prior notice. They may refuse to accept or to retain any Conference participant as attendee in the Conference at any time.
